Another fine mess you've gotten us into. Every so often the Soylent Corporation comes along and gathers up the stranded tourists.
Left: a former beach ridge in the woods.
Left: view from the top of the dunes.
Left and below: nice examples of wave refraction and beach drift in action.
Left and below: Beginning at the east end of teh dunes are low wave cut cliffs of dolomite.
Note that the algae are swept clear where the waves hit the beach with full force.
Left and below: these intriguing curving ripples are common along the shore. They are too intricate for ripple marks and don't appear to be stromatolites. They may possibly be feeding tracks.
Left: possible feeding tracks

Below: Views of the wave-cut platform and beach cliff.

Left and below: outcrops of dolomite in the bench. Note the beach cobbles in the undercut.
Left and below: looking north along the cliffs toward Cave Point.
