The first clue that the outcrops are approaching, if you're headed west, is this surprising sign posted by the Shawano High School Geology Club. It's subject to the ravages of weather and infrequent maintenance.
Looking east on Highway 29
Looking west on Highway 29. The best clue to location is the center of a very broad valley.

Below: the outcrops are not overly conspicuous but are fairly large.

Left and below: views of the granitic rocks at varying scales. Some of the rock is uniform but most has long feldspar phenocrysts up to 3 cm in length.
