Left and below: the original quarry for which the road is named is a water-filled pit with a small section of Sinnipee Group dolomite still exposed.
Below: not far to the east, a new pit has been opened.
Left: looking west along Krueger Quarry Road. Although outcrop is sparse, the overburden is thin and bedrock is never far below the surface.
