A steep granite knob on Highway 32 2 km south of Mountain. From here north there are numerous roadside outcrops of metavolcanic and granitic rocks. The granite here is part of the Wolf River Batholith.

Left and below: northwest of the steep face, there is easy access to the top.

Left and below: once atop the knob, granite extends back into the woods for some distance.
Looking west from the top. North Branch of the Oconto River in the distance.
Closeup of the granite, which is coarse and fairly uniform in texture.
