Penokean Volcanic Terrane (1900-2000 Ma old)

The Penokean volcanic rocks consist of mafic metavolcanic rocks, mafic intrusions, and associated volcaniclastic sedimentary rocks. This belt is called the Central Wisconsin Magmatic Belt and also the Wausau-Pembine Terrane.
