A spectacular contact between Keeweenawan volcanic rocks and interflow
sediments is exposed in a road cut just southwest of Grand Marais,
Minnesota. In addition to the contact itself, there are two spectacular squeezeups of sediment (apparently still soft when the flows were erupted. |
