New Features & Updates for 2007

  • 12/26/07 Development and revision of this edition has slowed as a major publishing is interested in developing the textbook for publication.
  • 12/26/07 Author email changed to tpeauthor@mac.com
  • 10/19/07 Added Fire and the grassland biome
  • 9/3/07 Blog has moved to Wordpress.
  • 9/3/07 YouTube videos being added from National Geographic, Discovery News and other outlets. See Global Warming and Arctic Habitats.
  • 6/30/07 iQuiz packs (multiple-choice quizzes for iPods) are being created, see details.
  • 6/24/07 The server housing TPE was upgraded so you may encounter a few bugs and formatting issues. These are being worked out.
  • 4/9/07 "In The News" assignment has been expanded.

Forthcoming features

  • Instructor and student manuals to help integrate The Physical Environment into courses is in the works. (Preview instructor manual)
