In Class | I expect each student to attend each meeting of the course. Discussions in class are a critical component of the learning process and cannot be repeated. Frequent tardiness or excessive absences will result in a significant reduction in your course grade. | |
| Field Trip |
The field trip is the most important component of the course. You will never
learn as much in the classroom as you will in the field. There will be
organized tours for portions of the trip, but a great deal of the time you
will be responsible for conducting your own urban research. Use all of your
geography skills to make the most of this experience. I expect professional behavior at all times on the field trip. You are representing our state, city, university, this class and, more importantly, yourself. Any inappropriate behavior will result in an immediate dismissal from the trip. |
