Hole in the Wall Glacier, Alaska. The terminal-lateral moraine indicates the furthest extent that the Hole in the Wall Glacier extended horizontally across the landscape. This moraine is an unconsolidated ridge of material that was deposited by the glacier, which has since retreated slightly. The airplane and base camp provide some scale to the size of the moraine.
