This Canadian landscape shows many alpine glacial landforms, although only three types of landforms are labeled.

Two cirques are labeled on the photo. Each cirque contains a valley glacier that flows out of the cirque and down a valley towards the bottom of the photo. It appears as though a third cirque exists just below the word "Horn." Some other cirques appear in the upper right corner of the photo.

A horn, a pyramid-shaped mountain peak, is partially defined by the three cirques that surround it.

An arete, a steep sided, sharp edged ridge, separates the two labeled cirques. There are other aretes in the photo separating other cirques and valley glaciers.
