Find Tab FunctionsThe find tab is especially useful in SAR, especially if you are working in unfamiliar areas. The Search For button lets you pick how you want to input the place of interest; most people use this to find towns or street addresses. However, SAR work often involves instructions to proceed to grid reference coordinates with no other description, and it is easy to enter these to obtain an instant portrayal on the map as a yellow destination tag, as in the example below.
