Zoom
levels are at the top of the screen control panel. The red
arrowheads allow "full level" zoom jumps, and the small
black arrowhead buttons to the right of the numerical zoom level
display enable "1/10" zoom increments.
Beneath
the zoom controls are the main view edge jump buttons that enable
you to shift the area in view. You can also do this by having
the cursor near the border of the main display, clicking when it changes to
an arrow.
The
orientation of the map is the conventional "north at top"
by default, but you can reorient the map top by cardinal
directions with the orientation drop-down box (below the edge jump
buttons).
The
grid reference coordinates and elevation that appear below the map
orientation controls apply either to wherever the cursor is over the
main map, or the last border position prior to moving the cursor off
the main map.
Using
the drop-down box below the coordinates display you can magnify or
"move out from" the map center.
At
the bottom of the screen view control panel is an automatic scale
bar for the main map zoom level. |
