Rosillo Flats Area

Working from Nine Point Draw, we will map Park boundaries, botanical zones, archaeological and fossil sites, and geologic contacts. Under no circumstances do we remove, collect, or disturb specimens in any way. We also will immediately leave any other research sites that we might encounter.

Advisory: STAY TOGETHER; keep visible! This is very dry and sunny desert, even in winter. Sun protection (sunscreen, long sleeves, hat, and eyeshades), leg protection (boots, socks, and gaiters), THREE liters of liquids, and both a radio and flashlight with spare batteries are required for EVERY person on each hike.
