Paint Gap Area
Here
the reconnaissance project begins.
From
the campsite we follow the trail 3 km northward to the Park border, then
eastward 1 km to the boundary monument. From here we trace the boundary
4 km westward, then traverse 3 km southeastward across the
fossil-bearing javelina (Kjf) and Aguja (Kag) formations back to camp.
