Medical Insurance
UWSP international students are required to carry health and accident insurance for the duration of their sojourns in the United States.
The FSO partners with Student Assurance to offer a comprehensive, low-cost health and accident insurance policy which includes repatriation coverage. Policy details and rates are provided during new student orientation.
Returning students must renew their coverage before the end of the first week of fall classes. Please visit the FSO to renew. Pursuant to university regulations, failure to renew insurance coverage in a timely manner may result in expulsion from the university.
