L&S major, Women's studies minor or Peace studies minor.  Sophomore or above that is not a graduating senior or graduate student, in good standing and demonstrates financial need.  Awarded to student with best 500 word essay that demonstrates the applicant's commitment to and understanding of social justice and engaged citizenship.
