College of Fine Arts & Communication (COFAC) Scholarship Fund

Students must be majoring in a discipline available through each department/division in the college.  This also includes majors in Arts Management.  Dean of the College will assign funds to departments on an as needed basis.  Funds may also be added to a department scholarship fund to enhance that  fund.  While this account may serve as a scholarship account, it will also serve as a support system for departmental needs for students.

Wayne Halverson Art Award

Awarded for the best life drawing or painting, including figure drawing or painting, selected by the juror of the student juried show each time it is sponsored by the department.  The student need not be an art major.  If no life drawing or painting is juried in the student art show, the award will be carried over to the following juried student art show.

Unconventional Wisconsin-Dan Favor Memorial Art Fund The fund will support uses consistent with the spirit in which Dan Favor lived his life, including but not limited to funding the Unconventional Wisconsin Art Show at the Carlsten Gallery, support to local art programs and teachers, scholarship support for students to attend art camps and workshops, and other projects that support the arts at UWSP and throughout the community. Diane Bywaters is UWSP Faculty Representative on the Dan Favor Memorial Fund Committee.
