Apollo Alumni Association Scholarship

Application Deadline

  • Due six weeks prior to following semester (fall/spring).
  • For summer term, due prior to first day of classes.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Tau Kappa Epsilon initiation from any campus.

Mary Croft Writing Lab Scholarship

Application Information

  • No application required, awarded internally. All student consultants who meet the criteria are eligible.

Dr. Sharon Gahnz Honoring Tyler Joe Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

  • Undergraduate with a diagnosed learning disability
  • Must be admitted to the Learning Disabilities program in the Disabilities Services Office or show proof of diagnosed learning disability
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Participation in extra-curricular or community activities, or employment

  • Two letters of recommendation from faculty; at least one of these must have taught a course taken by the applicant. Both should address how the learning disability was managed in the classroom.

Gordon M. Haferbecker Antigo High School Scholarship

  • Antigo High School graduate
  • Financial need
  • GPA of 3.25 or higher
  • Demonstrated leadership and community service
  • Preference to incoming freshman, but eligible continuing students may also apply

  • No application required; all eligible incoming freshmen admitted to UWSP are considered for this award

Liberal Arts Essay Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This competition is open to any UWSP undergraduate student in good academic standing who has completed a minimum of 30 credits  by the end of the previous fall semester, and who has at least one semester remaining (the following fall semester) as a full-time undergraduate student

Robert Mosier Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements

  • UWSP graduating senior
  • Pursuing a career in Student Affairs
  • Actively involved in Residential Living for at least two years in any combination of the following roles: Community Advisor (CAA), Assistant to the Director, Hall/House leader, RHA Executive, Academic Resource Coordinator (ARC) or Conduct Board member
  • GPA of 2.75 or higher

Application Information:

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point University Housing program has a strong, positive impact on countless students as well as professional staff.  This scholarship was started by past UWSP Hall Directors for graduating seniors interested in the Student Affairs field. This scholarship is dedicated to Dr. Bob Mosier, who's commitment to student development, education, and self-discovery as well as his long-term tenure at UWSP impacted many students and staff.

National Residence Hall Scholarship

  • Actively involved in the residence halls
  • Returning to the residence halls in the following semester

  • Full-time statues (12 or more credits)
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Extra curricular activities, club/organization involvement, recent volunteer activities, current and prior employment, and other grants or scholarships received during the past academic year will be considered

  • Special skills/contributions that benefit UWSP

Siasefi Scholarship

  • Full-time statues (12 or more credits)
  • Sophomore standing or above
  • In good academic standing
  • Applicant's demonstrated community involvement; prior or potential contribution to the university, community, state or nation; scholarship; and understanding of SIASEFI and its history considered
