The UWSP Foundation serves the university by enhancing educational programs and activities, while functioning as a separate support organization to the university. We receive charitable contributions from you and assure your donations are kept separate from public funds, are invested in a prudent manner, and are applied as you specify.​

This year, following a gala sponsored by the UWSP Foundation to benefit our Freshman Scholarship Fund, Chancellor Bernie Patterson lit the recently restored cupola atop Old Main for the first time. While this was a momentous occasion, the chancellor decided to have just a bit of fun!

The Worth Family may be well known for the Worth Manufacturing Company, which produces fishing tackle components for tackle manufacturers, but UWSP alumni Robert (Bob), and Marilyn Worth are also known for their philanthropy and volunteerism. MORE

 

Dr. Helen Godfrey exemplified a giving spirit by supporting UWSP and serving her community. Soon after Helen arrived here, she knew “this was it.” She had offers elsewhere, even at a big 10 university, but chose to stay here. “I thought I’d only stay about five years.” despite the fact that she “loved every minute of it.” MORE​
