UWSP has study abroad programs in China, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Oaxaca Mexico. Most students find study abroad one of their most rewarding experiences. A semester in Valladolid, Munich/Magdeburg, or Caen offers a great opportunity for learning the language and culture directly. These programs offer full academic credit. You may apply your financial aid package to studying abroad.

Majors interested in teaching are strongly urged to make every effort to study abroad, since DPI regulations now require some form of residency abroad or immersion study for teacher certification.
