The Forest Administration and Utilization option provides students with a foundation in forest products and additionally introduces students to accounting, legal, and management aspects of the business environment.  It is designed to facilitate attainment of a Business Administration Minor.  This option is appropriate for students interested in:  a career in forest industry; owning a consulting firm; or higher level management positions in forestry organizations.

The Urban Forestry option provides students with a foundation in the theoretical and applied skills of arboriculture and urban forest management. Urban forestry students gain expertise in a variety of areas including tree biology, arboriculture, nursery and landscape management, urban forest management, and urban ecology. This option is appropriate for students interested in:  careers in urban, municipal or community forestry and landscape, nursery or vegetation management professions in urban, peri-urban, and rural settings. 

The Forest Recreation option provides students with an interdisciplinary foundation of managing forests for recreational use. It is designed to prepare students to incorporate the social and ecological aspects of providing for visitor use in forests that are managed for multiple uses. This option is appropriate for students who are interested in: careers focused on the managing public use of forest land, visitor services, and public land administration.
