1. Monday, September 25

WISCONSIN OUTDOORS WITH THE BOW PROGRAM $35

Spend the morning enjoying the Wisconsin outdoors while honing your outdoor skills.  Choose from one of four different topics to make your excursions into the out of doors more enjoyable. The topics include outdoor cooking; bow hunting and archery; map and compass; and beginning shot gunning.  No previous experience necessary.   Equipment, instruction, lunch and t-shirt plus door prizes all provided.  Casual clothes and sensible shoes are suggested. 

2. Monday, September 25

PAPER, BEER AND STARS- $45

In the morning we travel to the Paper Science Department of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point to have a presentation and view the paper machine and paper making process where students enrolled in the program have an opportunity to have hands on experience.  Enjoy a leisurely lunch at Sentry World Sports Center overlooking the flower hole on the 16th green where over 90,000 annual flowers are planted.  Following lunch we will tour the Stevens Point Brewery.  The brewery has been part of Stevens Point heritage since 1857.  We will end the day with a presentation at the UWSP Planetarium. Sensible shoes suggested

3. Tuesday, September 26

Board bus at 8:15 and return at 4:30 Lunch is included

      HEART OF WISCONSIN  - $55

This tour combines several of Central Wisconsin’s most popular attractions.  At Glacial Lake Cranberries see first hand how cranberries are grown and harvested.   We will also visit Historical Point Basse , a living history site and experience  life in the 1840’s to 1860’s.   Our final stop will be Studio of Good Earth-one of the area’s finest art and craft galleries featuring many objects that blend wood and clay in traditional and contemporary design.  Walking is involved and sensible shoes are suggested.
