Administrative Information System Assistance
We can't consider our tour of the Financial Aid Office complete without mentioning a few key people who assist us regularly from beyond our walls. We utilize the Sunguard SCT Corporation's BANNER software to manage our aid programs at UWSP, and these programs require considerable technical attention by the Administrative Information Systems staff to install the regular software upgrades that come along and keep our hardware in tune to our needs. Many are involved in this process, but Mike Polum, Information Systems Specialist in Administrative Information Systems, is the key expert in that area that we wouldn't want to be without, he's sort of like a guardian angel that looks after us from afar, and when a need arises, he's there in an instant. Mike is most definitely an honorary member of our staff.
Another person from the Administrative Information System area that we look to for special help, especially with regard to our network and our personal computers, is Jack George.
