Building Maintenance
The purpose of Building Maintenance Operations is to preserve
university assets and to support the university's mission. The staff
is a mix of multi-talented, multi-skilled crafts personnel
experienced in all areas of mechanical, electrical, and building
systems. You may request Building Maintenance services by submitting
a work request through our computerized maintenance management
system at
http://ais-srv2.uwsp.edu:82/ or, in the case of emergency, by
calling x4219. Inquiries about the status of work requests and
project status may be addressed through the Work Control Center at
346-4219. Requestors who submit work requests electronically will
automatically receive notice by e-mail of any change in work order
status. Additional inquiries regarding unusual work requests may be
made to Paul Biersack.
Hours of Operation:
Weekdays 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.—fully staffed
Monday-Thursday, 3 p.m.-11 p.m.—second shift building maintenance
Weekends—no standard coverage
Second Shift Building Maintenance:
Tom Johnson can be reached at x4219 during second shift hours (Monday-Thursday, 3 p.m.-11 p.m.)
After Hours Emergencies:
Minimal Maintenance coverage is available for emergencies after
regular business hours. To report an after-hours emergency, contact
Campus Protective Services at x3456.
