Call for Nominations for UW-System Regents Academic Staff Excellence Award - Individual Award and Regents Program Excellence Award

Body

UWSP’s Academic Staff Awards committee is now accepting nominations for consideration as UWSP’s candidate for the 2013 UW-System Regents Academic Staff Excellence Award- Individual Award and Regents Program Excellence Award.

Each campus in the UW-System may nominate one non-instructional academic staff member and one non-instructional academic staff program. A special Regent committee will select two academic staff members and one program from all represented UW campuses as award recipients. Each award recipient will receive a $5,000 cash award for professional development or program improvements, public recognition at a 2013 UW Board of Regents meeting, and news releases to state and local media.

Please see the attached document for the criteria for nominating a non-instructional academic staff member or program, submission information and nomination form. Nominations are due to the chair, Marge Strong, mstrong@uwsp.edu by Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
