Position:
Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations

Position Description:
Responsible for public relations, publications, promotions, athletic web pages, and special events related to 20 sport modules; working knowledge of statistical needs/requirements; experience working with print and electronic media.  The successful candidate will    also assist the Director of Athletics with everyday  responsibilities within the Athletic Department.

Department/University Description:
School of Health, Exercise Science and Athletics 

Qualifications:
B.S. required - master’s preferred.  Prior experience with public and media relations required.

Appointment Date:
July 1, 2008

Terms of Employment:
12 month academic position.  Salary commensurate with background and experience of the successful candidate.
