Guidelines on receiving applications after the “Unclassified Applicant Log” has been “submitted & approved.”

1.) Positions with an “Open Deadline"
Positions with “Open Until Filled”, the Search and Screen committee is required to review all applications coming in during the search. The applicant must be added to the “Unclassified Applicant Log” if a verbal offer has not been extended. If the “Unclassified Applicant Log” had been turned in and signed, the log must be revised and signed. Normal paper work and letters should follow. If a verbal offered has been extended, then the applicant’s name only needs to be recorded on the “Open Records Log.” A letter should be sent to the applicant letting him/her know that an offered has been extended. The EEO form does not need to be included.

2.) If Position has a Definite Deadline:
Applications coming in after the deadline date, does not need to be reviewed. You should email the person letting them know the position is closed. Their name does not go on the Applicant Log.
It should go on the “Open Records Log” if the form has not been turned in to EAA. On the Open Records Log, indicate that their application came in after the closing date next to their name. If the Open Records Log is turned in, it does not need to go on the Open Records Log.
