Do not move the victims unless other hazards pose an immediate threat to life. Call Protective Services at ext. 3456 or call the Stevens Point Police Department at 911 and state the location, nature and severity of the medical/emotional emergency. Remain with the victim(s) while the call is made. Notify Residence Hall Director and on duty Community Advisor/Summer Conference Host. Have someone (preferably front desk worker) wait at the suggested entrance to direct emergency personnel to the victim(s). Follow any further instructions received from emergency personnel. Offer first aid if trained and willing to do so. If blood is released or you feel you were exposed to blood or other infectious materials through the provision of first aid or a needle stick contact Protective Services at ext. 3456 or Safety and Loss Control at ext. 2618 for information regarding medical attention.
