APA Style Periodical References

Periodicals (publications issued periodically, e.g. journals, newspapers, magazines) -- Include author(s), title, with the first word and the first word of the subtitle (usually the first word after a colon) capitalized. Also, capitalize any proper names. Do not italicize or put quotation marks around the title of the article. Italicize the title of the Publication (capitalize all words but prepositions, conjunctions and articles) and include, after a comma, the volume number and another comma. Finally, include the page numbers separated by a single dash. Use a hanging indent for each entry: begin each entry at the left margin and indent all subsequent lines of that entry five spaces. Double space within the entries and between them.
