APA Appendices
| If you want to include surveys, lists, tables, graphs, or other information that would be distracting in the text of your paper, you may wish to include them at the end of the paper, in an appendix. If you have only one appendix, label it Appendix; if you have more than one, label each one with a capital letter (Appendix A, Appendix B, etc. ). In text, refer to each appendix by its title (for example, "see Appendix C").
Your appendixes may include headings and sub-headings, but treat them separately from the headings in the main text. Your appendix can also include several tables or figures, and these may include numbers. For example, Appendix B may have three figures (1,2, and 3). If one table constitutes an entire appendix, the centered appendix label and title serve in place of a table number and title. |
