bibliography for distribution to parents and/or
students about MI. Remember your selections need to
be appropriate to your audiences. These may
certainly include some of the online batteries and
assessments, as well as appropriately chosen books.
More information about book selections can be found
through online vendors like Amazon. com or Barnes
and Noble. com, or through publishing houses like
Corwin Press, Skylight, Zephyr Press.

What's the big attraction?
Why teachers are drawn to using Multiple
Intelligence Theory in their classrooms. On-line
article by yours truly -- yes, I know some of you
have already read the article. Please read and
pinpoint any additions you may think I have missed.
If you have sued MI techniques, do you agree, or
disagree?
6. Other side of the coin:
A criticism of MI
- the well educated person looks at both sides of an
argument or issue before making up her/his mind.
This is a well-researched article by O�Shea. While
there are a number of good points, I am not sure
that they lead the reader away from MI. See if any
of the points made against MI resonate. If so, why,
or why not?

for last - Something to think about - Early in
Gardnerr's work he discovered and popularized the
phenomenal work of an Italian preschool system
called Reggio Emilia. This strand of PZ's pages
deals with
Making Learning Visible a movement whereby learning becomes documented by
the products and interactions of the participants.

Follow
the PPT on the left to see what this project is
talking about. Remember as you follow this group of
kids, they are only 5. From this brief
glimpse into their processes, which intelligences
are they using? What do you think they might be like
when they are adults?
Are there any key ideas that you can use from the
principles of Making Learning Visible?

resource for these to send to you. However, perhaps
as a covey of detectives (you) might be able to
ferret out some other sources. If you do find one of
these, be sure to print a copy, and save and send
