Master of Science in Education – Elementary
This degree is designed for licensed educators who are in their first year of teaching or for teachers preferring an elementary education emphasis.
The program entails 30 credits in graduate courses:
- Professional education: 9 credits including foundations, curriculum, and research courses (ED 782 may substitute for ED 707 only with advisor approval prior to enrollment).
- Liberal arts: 6-9 credits outside education (courses without the ED prefix).
- Education: 12-15 credits in the areas of instructional methods, supervision and instruction, reading, foundations, etc.
