Master of Science in Education Degrees

Master of Science in Education - General

This degree is designed for licensed educators who have at least two years of full-time elementary or secondary teaching experience. Substitute teaching will be considered for this requirement, but student teaching and interning will not. You design a plan of study that meets your specific needs; credits may come from several disciplines into the 30-required graduate credits. There is a great deal of flexibility with this 30-graduate credit program.

Master of Science in Education – Elementary

This degree is designed for licensed educators who are in their first year of teaching or for teachers preferring an elementary education emphasis.

Master of Science in Teaching

This degree is designed for licensed secondary level educators who wish to obtain a graduate degree in their area of interest. These areas include biology, English, and history. In addition to the general requirements of all master’s degrees, the Master of Science in Teaching degree has the following requirements:
