This link has pictures of some of the pins you will find on the order form (see the news item with the pin order form on the Globals Info page).
This set is from the MudDI Waters Consortium, which is a group of 10 Midwestern area states who have joined together to support each other with Affiliate organization changes, important issues we all share, group buys to save money for each Affiliate, and these pins also support the MudDI Waters Scholarship offered each year. There is more information on this website about the scholarship.
The trading set is a set of 10 Wisconsin snowflakes. Nine snowflakes are traded with teams from the other MudDI Waters states. These are listed on the order form. These pins are fantastic trade items at Globals!!

Dear Wisconsin Destination ImagiNation Community,
Congratulations on another fantastic year of creativity, teamwork and problem solving with the Destination ImagiNation® program!
The Wisconsin Destination ImagiNation program is about to undergo a transition in its organizational structure over the next year. We have been very privileged to work with the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point for many years and as we look toward growth and new opportunities for our DI program.
Our state Advisory board recently met and has consensus that over the next year, we will begin developing a new organization and leadership structure that will be responsible for administering the DI program. We expect little (if any) noticeable change from the team perspective as we make this transition and we look forward to continued partnership with UWSP and many other organizations as we embark on this transition.
Our local Regions are major contributors to this transition process and will remain fully intact and operational both now and over the long term.
We have assembled a Transition Team that will guide us through this process. This team is made up of the following people:
- Pat Schoonover, Wisconsin Affiliate Director
- Rusty McCarty, Destination ImagiNation, Inc. Vice President
- Carol Johnson
- Steve Cormier
- Romelle Fox
- Dave Valentine
We will keep you informed as this transition process moves forward. Please contact me directly with any questions.
Best regards,
Pat Schoonover
Wisconsin Affiliate Director

What if Destination ImagiNation in Wisconsin earned a penny every time you searched the Internet or shopped online? Well, now we can!
GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.
GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates a percentage of each purchase to your favorite cause. More than 100 great stores including The Gap, Best Buy and Barnes and Nobel have teamed up with GoodSearch and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Destination ImagiNation-Wisconsin (enter it as it is here) as the charity you want to support. And, be sure to spread the word!
Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yTFBozqpQM and you can view a number of videos related to Destination ImagiNation. Type the words Destination ImagiNation in the search area and hit "Enter." The video from DI that is on You Tube is already on our state website. You'll find videos from Globals, Regionals, teams and from different affiliates. Enjoy!

This movie helps to explain the program to anyone working with a DI team. It is especially helpful for new Team Managers.
You will need Quicktime to view it.
This document has a list of links handy for parents, teachers and students. It comes from the LA Times and is accessed by teachers all over the country. These links should be very useful for DI teams, too!
Are you a parent who is wondering what this program is all about? Perhaps you are a Team Manager or Administrator who wants to share information about Destination ImagiNation with your parents. Here is the link that should help!
Want to find out what DI is all about? This link has a downloadable PDF slide show about the 2006-2007 Destination ImagiNation program.
