"Biographies"

Linguistic � Read a biography about a famous historical person.  Write a report about that person's life.  It can be typed or handwritten neatly.

Cover page on the name of the book and author and person it is about.

When he/she was born and died and where they lived

Write 1 paragraph about their early life (include dates).

Write 1 paragraph about his/her later life  (include dates)

Write 1 paragraph on why they are famous

Write 1 paragraph on any interesting facts you discovered about your person

Spatial � Draw a large picture of the person they read about.  It needs to be cut out and colored.

Logical / Mathematical � Make a timeline of interesting facts in your person�s life.

Bodily / Kinesthetic � Dress up as your historical person and tell about yourself as if you are him/her.  I will videotape it.

Musical �  Write a song or rap about your person using some facts you have learned.

Interpersonal�  We will have a Famous Person luncheon. You can bring in food from your background and time period to share.

You dress up as your person and can walk around and talk about your life to others or make up a little skit with some other classmate�s famous person.

Intrapersonal � Reading the book on your own and writing the report will take care of this.

Naturalistic � Make a model house that they lived in out of branches, sticks, etc.
