My interests are many. I am a sportsman and enjoy fishing, hunting (bow and gun), golfing, and watching professional football, especially the Minnesota Vikings. My fishing exploits have been many from creek fishing for brook trout in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to halibut fishing in Alaska. Some of my better catches include a 30 1/4 inch Walleye and a 27 inch Steelhead both from the mouth of Montreal River located on the Michigan Wisconsin border in the U.P.. Both are good stories with unique happenings. My Alaska trip was highlighted with a good sized halibut. Ask me sometime if you have a few minutes and you'll hear a fishing tale or two. I enjoy hunting and had a nine point buck mounted in 1998 and an eight point in 2000. They are both unique stories. I haven't had any luck bow hunting yet. One day I will be successful. I enjoy being in the woods because of the beauty and excitement nature has to offer. Golf is not my strong suit, but a lot of fun. In all the years that I have been golfing, I am finally getting somewhat better. I don't take it seriously, that's why I enjoy it so much. Football - YES, the Minnesota Vikings. I started rooting for them back in 1961, the first year of their existence. I have stuck with them through thick and thin. Hopefully, this new season (2001-2002) will be awesome with our new draftees filling in the gaps and doing well.
