Profile

It gives the students a colorful way to practice using and reading the graduated cylinder.  Students mix varying amounts of colored water using the graduated cylinder beaker and flask.  The lab results in a mathematical solution to the number of milliliters in an ice cube.

Created for introducing and comparing two methods to measure solid volume.  The displacement method and the mathematical method are compared and contrasted.
