I have been an elementary teacher in the Stevens Point School District since 1988 with almost 10 of those years spent in 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades at Madison School. Currently I am in my third year teaching grade 6 at McDill School. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's from UWSP and it was during my Master's program and classes with Leslie that I became familiar and very interested in the Multiple Intelligences. I have implemented this philosophy into my teaching ever since and have even held a "Multiple Intelligence Sharing Night" for parents in which the students showed off projects that demonstrated their many strengths. I am married and have 3 quickly growing sons who certainly keep me energized or is that (de-energized)?
