Add-on Certification Options
The following Graduate Add-On Certifications are
available through UWSP. These may be incorporated within the Masters
degree:

- Family and Consumer Science

- Reading Teacher (316) and Reading Specialist (17)
- Special Education (Cognitive Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education, Emotional Disturbances, Learning Disabilities).

TESL - Teaching English as a Second Language

UWSP is currently working on additional licensing programs in Alternative Education, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, and Gifted Education. Our website will be updated as these are submitted and approved by DPI. UWSP has recently been approved to offer the Broadfield Language Arts certification.
