Who is NAME?

[EDUC 200 Task]

The purpose of this page is "get to know you." Some employers like to know more about the personal lives of job candidates, to get a sense of the whole person. For example, having a hobby could mean you're more well-rounded and more balanced (i.e., less likely to burn out through overwork).

This should be a semi-formal mini-autobiography. In about 3-6 paragraphs of 3-5 sentences each, you should describe some or all of the following:

Your tone can be less formal than your Introduction, but remember that you're writing to a potential employer. Be careful about sharing intimate details.

Be careful about foregrounding religion. Faith can be a powerful part of your teaching identity. But if you're going to teach in public schools, religion should be something you tacitly express through your character and actions.

You need to include two or more "flavor" images. These should be visual enhancements of ideas in the prose. For example, since you're graduating from UWSP, you could include the UWSP logo (there's a copy here: _images/official/uwsp_seal_small.jpg). Other sources of flavor images include: TV channels or shows, movies, books, places, pets, hobby tools and materials, etc.

You need to include one or more personal images. This is a semi-formal or informal picture that includes you.

For an example page, see "Who is Kym?" at http://KymBuchanan.org

Be sure to include ALT info for your images.

Be sure there are no errors in conventions (e.g., spelling, grammar, punctuation).

Don't repeat content from your Introduction.
