Emily is a UW-Stevens Point alumna with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services emphasis, and minor in youth programming and camp management. After graduating from UWSP, she went on to pursue a master’s degree in administrative leadership with a concentration in higher education administration through the UW-Milwaukee School of Education.

She has worked in a variety of youth and young adult program settings since 2009. It is through these experiences that she has found her passion for youth development. Emily spent a number of years working for the Girl Scouts of Badgerland Council as a summer camp counselor, administrative camp staff member, and year-round program support. She also spent time working for the Madison Metropolitan School District where facilitating low- and high-ropes activities, group initiatives, and team-building exercises amongst MMSD students and user groups.

Prior to working in the School of Education, Emily also worked in both the University Store and Text Rental on campus and with the Student Recreation and Club Sports. The strong focus on student development and engagement at UWSP is what keeps drawing her back to positions on this campus, and the School of Education has much to offer.
