SOE Advising, Recruitment & Retention Office

The School of Education Advising, Recruitment & Retention Office (ARRO), located in 469 College of Professional Studies, is home to all students interested in teaching.

ARRO is staffed by professional and peer advisers and is active year-round serving current UWSP students, new UWSP students, prospective recruits, transfer students and re-entry students.

Education professor, alum lead Hmong culture summer camp 
A summer camp designed to teach Hmong students about their own heritage has doubled in size in two years. Camp Phoojywg-Friend, was created by UW-Stevens Point alum Yauo Yang '08, a social studies teacher at D.C. Everest Middle School, and Maysee Yang Herr, an assistant professor of education.
