Early Childhood Education Program

The School of Education has placed enrollment caps on students admitted to the Professional Education Program in the early childhood education major. Students must meet all minimum requirements prior to applying to the Program.

The top 25 Early Childhood Education major students per year (12-13 per semester) will be admitted based on the following ranking system:

  • 50% Grade Point Average from all institutions attended.

  • 50% Pre-Professional Interview score

Students will be allowed to apply no more than twice to the any of the following majors/minors: early childhood education, elementary education, special education.
