Courses and Timeline

The program consists of three areas of coursework to complete the program:

  • Required courses from the WTCS early childhood associate degree (35* transferable credits to UW-Stevens Point). Additional General Education Program courses may also transfer.
    • Courses taken prior to Fall 2006 will be evaluated through transcript review and may require additional coursework.

  • UW-Stevens Point Core Education Courses (45 credits with an additional 13 credits of student teaching). Participating students will work in a cohort setting. Courses will be offered in hybrid formats (Saturday face-to-face/online) to accommodate practicing professionals.

  • Required UW-Stevens Point General Education Program requirements to be taken through a variety of campuses (28-37 credits).
