In compliance with the
“Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus
Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 UW-Stevens Point
Protective Services are giving notice of and attempted robbery in Parking Lot R
on the UW-Stevens Point campus. Protective Services and the Stevens Point
Police Department is investigating.
OFFENSES: One report
of Robbery. At approximately 6:30pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, two high
schooled aged boys approached a person exiting their vehicle in Parking Lot R, demanding
money or something of value. One of the suspects was carrying an item that
looked electronic and was pointing it at the victim in a menacing manner. Both
subjects fled the area after the victim refused
SUSPECT: The suspects are described as 14 -15 years of age,
white males. One subject was described as being approximately 5’5” and wearing
a red bandana and a red black plaid shirt/jacket. They left the area traveling
