The CPS Cabinet approved the use of Continuing Education carry-over funds to provide competitive grants to CPS faculty/staff that will result in new courses/programs for external audiences. Funding may be for faculty stipends for course development (research, D2L training, etc.), consultant fees, travel, honoraria, and/or student /LTE assistance, or other things you need to accomplish your goals.
Preference for CPS-CE grants is given to proposals that focus on opportunities for the non-traditional audience, and follow a partnership versus mass-marketing model. These grants are not intended for traditional, on-campus, undergraduate funded courses/programs offered during the academic year.
Interested staff must consult with their department heads and receive their endorsement and may consult with Continuing Education staff prior to submission.
