Dr. Wally Goddard will lecture on the "16 Myths of Family Life" from 7-8 PM on Thursday Sept. 27 in the College of Professional Studies, 116 1901-4th Ave. on the UWSP campus. Author and Family Life Specialist at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Goddard is well known for his work on parenting, marriage, youth development, and family relations. Recently he teamed with Stephen Covey to co-author "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families." Wally also worked with Alice Ginott, widow of Haim Ginott, to update Haim Ginott's classic parenting book "Between Parent and Child." Funding for Dr. Goddard’s visit is provided through the UWSP Home Economics Centennial Fund.
