Make an advising appointment at UWMC students services by calling 715-261-6229. Bring a copy of your transcripts in order to begin the credit evaluation process and to determine your course sequence. You will be a UWMC student until you complete your associate degree. While you are working on your associates degree you may apply to UWSP and declare your major.
Can I take courses from both campuses at the same time?
Yes. While you are completing your associates degree, you may enroll in the core business courses under a special student status without having to apply to UWSP. However, the sooner you apply to UWSP, the better we can meet your advising needs and plan for a smooth transfer saving you time and money.
What if I have bachelor's degree in a field other than business?
Come back to school and earn your UW business degree! Make an advising appointment at UWMC students services by calling 715-261-6229. Bring a copy of your transcripts in order to begin the credit evaluation process and to determine your course sequence.
How soon can I complete my degree?
This will vary based on your schedule. Students who have completed their associates degree and business foundation courses will be able to earn their bachelor's degree in two years if they attend classes full time.
What are students saying about our program?
"I picked this program because it worked out absolutely perfect for what I needed. It gives me the option to work full time and support my family. I get to come to school and have the face-to-face interaction with teachers and professors that I wanted versus taking online classes. I get the full college experience that I wanted without having to live on campus." Gina
"UWSP Business at UWMC offers flexibility in achieving academic goals in a way that is convenient for students by saving them the commute to UWSP" Jill '11
"As a condition of admittance into an MBA program, I needed two business courses to supplement a liberal arts BA. UW-Stevens Point's outreach in Wausau provided me with classroom learning opportunities conveniently near where I live and work. It has been a great educational experience."
