This course explores current issues in the professional field of health
promotion and wellness. Class readings, discussions and participation/analysis
of various presentations at the National Wellness Conference will contribute to
the up-dating and development of professional skills.
- Become familiar with the UWSP's approach to wellness by assessing your own
level of wellness, and determine how you will change your own personal

UWSP Dietetics, Family & Consumer Sciences, and Health Promotion
undergrad students or Human and Community Resources and Nutritional Sciences
master's students may apply for a conference fee waiver. Students must apply for
fee waivers by submitting a short, 1-page application that is due to the School
of Health Promotion & Human Development, 101 CPS, by date TBD.
