Wellness Profession Development
This course explores current issues in the professional field of health
promotion and wellness. Class readings, discussions and participation/analysis
of various presentations at the National Wellness Conference will contribute to
the up-dating and development of professional skills.
- Become familiar with the National Wellness Institute's approach to wellness by assessing your own level of wellness, and determine how you will change your own personal wellness.
- Explore current contemporary issues as related to health promotion and wellness.
- Define, explore and seek to answer your own self-defined question as it pertains to you personally, your family, your community and the organization you work for?
- Discuss how you will apply what you have learned to your wellness
