
This 777 Early Childhood Education Add-on certification program is designed for teachers who are currently licensed in regular education 1-6 or 1-8, who would like to extend their certification to Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. The program will consist of three courses offered each summer for two summers. Courses may be taken in any order.
All coursework is held on the UWSP campus

The final steps of the ECE certification process is passing the Praxis II Test, #0014 "Elementary Education: Content Knowledge" AND completion of appropriate Student Teaching. You do not need to apply to UW-Stevens Point for acceptance into this program; however, you should send a letter of intent, and copy of your current teaching license and transcripts to the UWSP School of Education for evaluation to determine if any of the courses listed above could be applied to your program.
